JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for data analysis between multiple data sets, providing real-time analysis that supports business decisions throughout the Cooperative.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
REQUIRED EDUCATION, DEGREES, CERTIFICATES, AND/OR LICENSES:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or Information Systems
- A combination of education and years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements providing equivalent knowledge.
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or business information systems
- A preference will be given to candidates with experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL skills and/or retrieving data from Oracle databases.
TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must be able to understand the flow of information and correlations between multiple data sets.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills including extensive problem-solving skills and be able to organize work to meet deadlines.
- Must have the ability to work independently and perform the activities necessary to complete work assignments.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working collaboratively across the Cooperative, builds, develops, and maintains data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and establishes performance indicators that support key business decisions.
- Participates in cross-functional projects using data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
- Provide analysis to all departments regarding actual vs. budget.
- Collaboratively manage and optimize, in partnership with the appropriate constituencies, processes for data collection, validation, hygiene, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.
- Develops and produces management reports both at the business and functional levels, to include executive dashboards/scorecards, incorporating collection and analysis and presents results in an accurate format to the management team.
- Assists teams working to implement new business initiatives, pilot programs, and rollouts; based on results, makes, recommends, and works collaboratively to implement adjustments and modifications.
- Exceptional internal and external customer service orientation.
- Assists at Annual Meeting.
- Performs other duties as required.
