We are often asked; what are the benefits of being a member of Canoochee EMC?

Sure, we keep your rates low and we respond to power outages with lightning speed, but a great deal of our benefits are intangible and seemingly forgotten in the mix of our busy lives.

We are about to change that.  Our new Co-op Connections Card Program will give us the means to show you what being a member of Canoochee EMC really means.  Every time you walk into one of the businesses that are in this program you will save.  You won’t have to go very far either.  Businesses in your home town have joined us in this effort. 

Simply use your Co-op Connections card that you received with your September issue of the Georgia magazine at participating businesses and save.  However, you might ask? 

Is the card only good throughout Canoochee EMC’s coverage area?

No, other Cooperatives have joined in the program, and you can find deals all over the United States.  As a matter of fact our neighboring Cooperative Coastal Electric is in the program as well. 

How does it work?

Members of Canoochee EMC will be able to receive discounts at local businesses without the hassle of driving out of town to save little cash.  And in return our local businesses have a way of offering savings to their loyal customers and will hopefully gain new customers to help build their businesses by offering special discounts for being a member of Canoochee EMC. 

Who gets one, and how do I get it? 

The Co-op Connections Program will be a benefit to all of our members who chose to take advantage of this great opportunity.  Remember, if you are a customer, you are a member.  Every month as a member of Canoochee EMC, you receive the Georgia Magazine, and in the September issue you should find your Card.  If you lose yours, come by your nearest office to pick another one up.

Please look for an upcoming list of businesses offering the Co-op Connections Card Program on our website, in the newspapers and in your Georgia magazine. 

When can I use it? 

The Co-op Connections Card Program is scheduled to start September 1 st 2006.
